WCDS Fundraising

On-Going Fundraisers-
The following are the "painless" on-going fundraisers that benefit our school and can be done throughout the year.

www.boxtops4education.com - Box Tops sends the school 10 cents for each box top redeemed.
www.gafundraising.com - This is the site for purchasing or renewing your magazine subscriptions. Our school will receive 40-60% of your overall purchase total.
www.target.com - This allows you to designate Wayne Country Day School as a recipient of a percentage of your purchases when you use your Target credit card or quest card. Last year we made nearly $5,000 this way!
www.foodlion.com - This leads you to the site where annually you designate our school to receive a percentage of your grocery purchases each time you scan your MVP card.

Annual Fundraisers-
The following are the yearly fundraisers. Each family signs a contract promising to participate in Fundraising and Annual Appeal.

Charger Cards - August
These cards are discount cards to local businesses. Purchasing a Charger Card for $10 enables the cardholder to partake in the discount offered at each designated business. Each WCDS Family is asked to sell 10 cards.

Sally Foster - September-
This is the time to buy giftwrap and other miscellaneous gifts for the ensuing holiday seasons. Individual and class totals are tabulated and prizes are awarded for the top sales-students. The school receives a full 50% of the total fundraiser.

"Boogie Nights" - Friday, November 9
Our premiere annual theme party and fundraising event featuring the "Right On" Band. It is a Dinner, Dance and Christmas Auction beginning with cocktails at 6:00 p.m., a Silent Auction from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m., a Live Auction at 8:00 p.m. followed by dancing the night away!

Spaghetti Spaganza - TBA
Each WCDS Family is responsible for selling 10 dinner tickets at $6 per dinner. Folks can come on campus for lunch or supper, or we will travel to deliver the spaghetti dinner for orders of five or more at one location.

Annual Giving - October through June
So much of the extras that we would like to provide can be accomplished if we meet our budget. Please help us reach our goal of 100% giving. Your donation can be made in payments over 10 months and it is critical in helping us meet our budget and keep our tuitions low. Remember your donation is tax-deductible.
