FIRST GRADE

April 7-11

• Old sneakers are due the 22nd of April for our recycling project.
• Science collections will be presented the week of May 5th.
  
  The first grade homework assignments go home each afternoon (Monday-Thursday) in the students’ homework folders.  Assignments may vary due to lessons accomplished in class.  Open Court take-home-books are sent home for reading practice as assigned.  Spelling assignments are consistent…
  Monday, write the first six words three times.
  Tuesday, write the last six words three times.
  Wednesday, write at least three sentences using as many spelling words as possible.
  The spelling tests are on Friday.

Daily graded papers and any messages go home in the homework folders or the Friday folders with test papers and newsletters.
