LOWER SCHOOL
The goal of the Lower School is to provide a sequential, developmentally appropricate curriculum for all students. The teachers strive to meet individual learning styles and differences while challenging each individual student to reach his/her potential. The Lower School teachers work closely together to insure every child is motivated and excited about learning.

In addition to the Lower School Curriculum there are also Co-Curricular offerings. Spanish is taught every day in the Lower School. The students also have Physical Education daily with a certified physical education teacher. Students take art in the pottery studio and receive music instruction twice a week. All Lower School students continue to use the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music begun in our Preschool program.
Included in the Lower and Upper School students' daily education is tutoring. Tutoring by the classroom teacher is available to any students needing extra help at the end of each day from 3:00-3:30. Students are encouraged to use this resource as much as needed. Additional resources for specialized tutoring are available to interested families through Southridge Learning which is based in Greenville. They offer an onsite tutor for the children with diagnosed learning differences. The specialist works with the classroom teachers to make the necessary classroom modifications to insure the child's success.
Hot lunch options are available for purchase on a daily basis. Additional snack items are available for purchase in the Charger Café.
