4-K NEWSLETTER
AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2008

     Welcome back to school!   We are so excited to have your child in the 4-K class and are looking forward to spending this year exploring, discovering, and learning together.
   Just to let you know, we are “WILD” about  4-K and we hope your child is ready for all the wild things that we have planned.  This month’s theme will introduce wild animals and their habitats. We will even go on Safari!
Be sure to check out the wild animals in the hallway.  They may look familiar!
      Concepts this month include:
               Letters: A,B,C,D,E        Numbers:  1,2,3
               Shape: Circle                  Color:  Red
               Sharing                           Transitioning
              Following directions        Taking turns
   
     Show and Tell will be each Friday, and will usually center around the weekly letter.  (See schedule below)

Pleae help your child select an appropriate item to share with the class. No weapons of any kind may be shown!! SHOW AND TELL:

8/22=Letter A

9/5=Free Choice

9/12=Letter C

9/19=Letter D

9-26=Letter E

10/3=Letter F
