The annual Early Years' Thanksgiving Feast was held today in the Performing Arts Building. The feast is a long-standing tradition that has been celebrated for over 30 years. Attending the feast were Native Americans, Pilgrims and, of course, turkeys! The feast began with the children singing Thanksgiving songs. The final song, We are Thankful, was Mr Anderson's cue to begin carving one of the delicious turkeys. The meal was complete with green beans, corn, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, muffins, and pumpkin pie! The room was full of parents, siblings, grandparents, children, teachers......family. What a wonderful way to begin the Thanksgiving holiday!
