The Kindergarten and Second Grade classes had a wonderful time celebrating the 100th day of school -- a tradition that has been carried out at WCDS for more than a decade. These students were paired across classes to facilitate a fun morning with their designated buddies. Activities included flipping coins and rolling dice 100 times to explore statistical probabilities, putting numbered sections of a centipede in the correct order, exploring different combinations of numbers that would produce the number 100, 100 jumping jacks, writing 100 sight words and much more! Of course, the celebration concluded with everyone's favorite activity -- making 100 day snacks with 100 goodies! Congratulations to these awesome students for being 100 days SMARTER!
