Latest COVID-19 Update
Dear Parents: March 17, 2020
Thank you for your support and patience during these two teacher workdays.
Grades 3K-3 teachers have put together packets for students. If you were not able to pick up your child’s work during the pickup times today, please call the school to make arrangements. Teachers will be in touch with parents via email to continue to update plans going forward.
Students in grades 4 were issued Chromebooks to begin their online learning. If you were not able to pick up your students’ Chromebook during the designated time, please call the office to make arrangements.
The faculty has been busy adjusting curriculum and training on Zoom. Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18th, 2020, grades 4-12 will begin distance learning using Zoom Meeting. Google Classroom, and other Google apps for education will continue to be used as well. Attached are the daily schedules for online learning for grades 4-12. Also attached is information on Student Responsibilities for Engagement through Virtual Platforms.
On Monday students in grades 7th-12th received an email to attend a Zoom Meeting on Tuesday in order to practice prior to the start of classes. If your student had issues getting on Zoom, please contact Ms. Barfield at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have questions about the schedules or classes in general, you can email the teacher directly, or email Fran Shaw at email@example.com.
The schedule and all other information will be posted on the website and emailed to students as well.
School access is closed to students and parents effective Wednesday, March 18th. You can email at any time or call the school between the hours of 8:00-3:00 pm if you need help or if you have any questions or concerns.
Please review the student responsibilities and schedule with your child. Attendance to online Zoom sessions will be taken in grades 4-12. We will continue to update you on new developments in a timely manner. Thanks again for partnering with us in this unprecedented time.
