Our academic program is incredibly strong with many students attending their first-choice college. We have many student organizations in which you can participate, and we encourage students to consider joining one of our fine athletic teams. We welcome students from all over the world.  Below you will see a description of the school from one of our current international students. Here at the Wayne Country Day School, we believe that every student, whether from around the corner or around the world, can find their place to belong, create, and achieve. Our school is more than a place to learn and practice language skills. It is a place where you can feel safe, nurtured, and encouraged to find your passion. We will support you on that journey.

We are a pre-K through 12 day school. This means that we do not offer a boarding option for our students. Our international students are paired with a local family, often teachers who work at the school, so that they might experience typical American family life. You will have a tremendous opportunity to know and become close with your host family. In addition, this family will be your support system and act as an advocate for you while you are here. Our students often reflect that the host family option really immerses them in both the language and the culture.
